Traveller from Ripon stayed in January,2009

On our arrival we were kept waiting 10mins in reception while they checked our booking and had a little talk between themselves (not we are sorry for keeping you waiting)did not communicate with us at all apart from telling us what room we were in,the room was "very basic"and we had to pack the window with paper as there was a 1" gap and the wind was howling through it, so if you are given Room 321 you know what to expect. very disappointing as it was our first visit to London and it was my wifes birthday.

Top Tip:
We ate at The Three Tuns Pub, across the road from the Hotel(up a side street)all the staff were very friendly and the food and wine was excellent very well presented and at a reasonable price.
